A question about work permit in UK (student visa)

2006-12-16 12:59 am
What I holding is a BNO passport
and what i've got is a residence permit in UK
and I'm currently studying in university in England

the only question is that how can I get a work permit for summer holiday
cos there is a remark:
No recourse to public funds.
Work (and any changes) must be authorised

please do answer my question but not give me some junk information
and I'll more than happy to see an answer from someone who is post-student in UK

In my experience, I think it is impossible.

Usually one gets a work permit when he/she applied it outside UK (i.e. Hong Kong SAR, for example). They would only issue permits to people where a company has accepted that personal to work.

In all cases, they won't issue even temporary work permits to students.
