since most of the routine works are massive in amount, (so I am able take/so it allows me to have/其他???) this chance to grasp the approximate time needed for completing
different routine works. After doing so, I believe that it will allow me to facilitate my (work/work process???) and to perform multi-tasks with better time management (in the future/at the later time???較後時間).

更新1:

As you know, it may be too busy for my supervisor to follow up the progress of my work. Even if he (did/does???), (the???) time may be (already) too late for (solving) certain urgent problems.

更新2:

So, I will (take initiative action/be initiative???) to submit progress report to him on a regular basis, even if he has not required me to do so.

um... its kind of hard to understand your first sentence but i'll try my best to edit this =)

Due to the fact that most routine tasks require numerous processes, this allows me the opportunity to grasp the approximate duration required to complete the work. By doing an accurate facilitation of my routine process, I will be able to multitask with more confidence in time management in the future. As you are aware, the abundance of tasks on my hand may well outrun the rate of which my supervisor follows up on my performance. Therefore, I have decided to take the initiative of submitting regular progress reports to my supervisor without his requiring me to do so.

Let me know if I've edited it wrong ^^ I can read Chinese no problem, it just takes forever to type (I grew up in California x.x)
