it is quite expensive if you take taxi to disneyland, universal studio and santa monica from LAX ( airport). If you can, of course, you rent a car is much cheaper.

If you can buy the chinese newspaper in Los angeles (e.g. singtao). you can check some advertisement. there is some taxi cab (private one). those are more cheaper.

or you can join a tour. then you can go all the places with cheaper rate too.

i lived in los angeles. you must call if you want a taxi. and they are charging according to how far they go (by miles , not like hk by km)

In Los Angeles, if you are going across cities, it will be cheaper to take a Shuttle,, esp. you are arriving at LAX.

I am providing some sample round trip price quotes at one of the shuttle company:
Prime Time Shuttle

1) airport <=> disneyland - US$15.00
2) airport <=> universal studio theme park - US$22.00
3) airport <=> santa monica - US$18.60

Taxi is very expensive and standard of service varies quite a bit. Good luck.

If you really want to take a taxi cap, you have to reserve it up front, but most of them will only travel within City of Los Angeles and will not go to Anaheim (Disneyland) or Santa Monica. That&#39;s why people will ride on shuttle instead.

Do you have a driving licence?If you have it then you can rent a car in the airport.... It is VERY VERY inconvenience and experience to call the taxi.....but if you want a taxi I can try to find it for you.
