Many cultures have historically celebrated their most important holiday in winter because there is less agricultural work to do at this time. Examples of winter festivals that have influenced Christmas include the pre-Christian festivals of Yule[1] and Saturnalia. Many of the traditions associated with the holiday have origins in these pagan winter celebrations.

Various local and regional Christmas traditions are still practiced, despite the widespread influence of American, Australian, and British Christmas motifs disseminated by film, popular literature, television, and other media.

An unforgetable Christmas Eve
Yesterday,is Christmas Eve.I was so happy that my mum took me to go shopping.
In the morning,I have breakfast at a restaurant and we ate many of food,such as
noodles and beef.after that,we go to the lady street to buy things.We had bought many thing such as christmas decorations and clothes.We stayed all day on buying things.
At night,we had a big burky to eat and many delisious things which are all cooked by my mun.
I hope I can have a unforgetable Christmas Eve in the coming year.
