Want to be a Pilot...

there are still many ways to be a airline pilot. You can get the license by yourself. I did my license in canada and i think it is the cheapest country for the ICAO license. If you want more information about the course. I can give you some comments. I don't think 26 years old is too old. But honestly. please don't mind that. This is not a good time and this is your last time and chance to obtain a pilot license. Since airline want their pilot to be a captain. That's why....

What you need to airline is CPL and multi engine IFR. you don't need ATPL. Or i should say you cannot get the ATPL before you go to the airline. So, most of us is work in some small companies or flight instructor to gain the flight hour. Tell you something exciting, nowadays, aviation inductry is blooming. You can super easy to find a job if you have CPL and multi IFR. I grauantee that to you. normally, you can easily get a pilot job at 300-500 flight hours. Some small charters may be.... Now, If you see pilot is your final destination, if you work hard and have money, I sure you can.

getting PPL/CPL is not related to your age, as long as you pass the medical.

Nowaday, Pilot is not very perfessional career. I read an article on newspaper . One of pilot caption who was fired by airline. Now, he is driving a truck in Canada.

In U.S.and Australia where have many pilot schools. You may try to find their web site on Internet. I believe that it is no fast way to get such qualification. Please advise us to consider whether is ride on your flight if you get the qualification from fast way course .

The course fee should be cheaper than Cathay Pacific I think, but they absorbed it for her staff.
