In my opinion, going on business trips is not only about meeting the objective of the trip, but also about paying attention to one's personal safety. Taking myself for example, if I have the chance to go on a business trip to China, I will first scan my ID card and Passport. Then save them as jpg pictures and store them in my email account before I take off. This is done in order to provide myself with a way to prove my identification if I happen to lose my Passport or ID card during the trip. In addition, I will also store the factory's address which I am visiting and other urgent contacting information in my email account for easy access as well.

If the country which I am going to visit is an undeveloped country, I will be more than willing to accept the host company's monitoring, to follow their arrangements to go to pre-assigned restaurants and hotel. After reaching the hotel, I will not go out alone to avoid any potential dangers.

For me, if have have a chance to have business trip in China, I would scan my ID card and Passport, save it in jpg. format, and store it in my e-mail before I have the trip; in case if I lose my passport and ID, in order to prove my identification. If the destination is an undeveloped country, I would be willing to accept the monitoring of my company, go to the assigned restaurant and hotel, and never go out by myself.
