a) The carbon skeleton of amino acids can be oxidized via the tricarboxylic acid cycle

b) Phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylserine seldom align against each other in a phospholipids bilayer because of repulsion between their head groups

c) polysaccharides are water soluble if their component monosaccharides are water solube. Examples can be found in glycogen and glycosaminoglycans.

a. No. Only the alpha-Carbon of amino acids can be oxidized by the TCA cycle. Carbon skeletons are "chopped off".

b. Not sure... but data as follows: at pH7, the net charge of Phosphatidylcholine is 0 while the net charge of phosphatidylserine is -1.

c. No, Solubility of polysaccharides are based on the type of linkage between component monosaccharides.
