Electronic dictionary is not just only has bilingual dictionary function but multi-lingual to tap the market of frequent travelers. It should also be redesigned its hardware more attractive in style and more compact—it often looks too odd. It should be compatible to others functions, systems and Window OS downloading such as games, MP3 stereo music, e-book, and even latest edition of dictionary adaptable. If possible it can be added with the function of video, camera and handset.

The market of e-dictionary is becoming mature as most of secondary and tertiary students of HK have one, meanwhile workers and consumers can easily obtain similar function from the latest version handsets, notebook computer on internet that would diminish the demand on real e-dictionary.

General speaking, the producers of e-dictionary would have three ways
-Tapping the market of frequent travelers who would require multi-lingual interpretation
-Redesign its hardware nice color & style, and can add more functions as mentioned above
-Frequently retiring old version and offering latest version of hardware, accessories, software with some gimmicks for free download.

Then it would not be a declined product but producer should be rejuvenating its power and extending life by adding something new and innovative.
