有關when & while 的問題

1) When 可譯做"何時"
如果當when 同while 是連接詞時,兩者的分別是when後面的verb不加ing,while 便要
e.g.:When he was primary one, he could swim.
While he was doing his homework, the telephone was ringing.
2)如果when 同while 都係一定要放係中間,沒有特別分先後,但通常時間長的action 先
e.g.:He was listening to the radio while she falled down.

when and while toshow that something happened at the same time as something else.

when to talk about that happened that happened at a point in time.有指定時間
while to talk about that happened that happened over a period of time.一段時間

e.g : when Bruce was three months old,he appeared in his first film.
while Bruce was at the University of Wasington,he gave kung fu lessons to earn money

when既句子可以咁：I'd like to know when they'll let him out.When did you last see Margaret?while 既句子可以咁：I'll be back in a while.而,然而I like tea while she likes coffee.雖然,儘管While I like the color of the hat, I do not like its shape.

When通常係要形容無特定既時間
eg: I was eating ice cream when washing the dishes.
While 通常會形容一段時段
eg: Mary phoned me while I was taking a bath

while係1. 一會兒,一段時間[S]
I'll be back in a while.
我一會兒就回來。

1. 當...的時候,和...同時
She listened closely while he read the letter.
他讀信時,她聽得很仔細。
I'll take care of your children while you are away.
你不在時我會照顧你的孩子的。
We must strike while the iron is hot.
我們必須打鐵趁熱。
2. 而,然而
I like tea while she likes coffee.
我喜歡喝茶,而她喜歡喝咖啡。
3. 雖然,儘管
While I like the color of the hat, I do not like its shape.
雖然我喜歡這頂帽子的顏色,但我不喜歡它的形狀。

when同while 係一句句子到既咪放中間囉"
如果,係發問問題既咪係開頭囉"
