MBBS=Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery這是英聯邦式的醫學全科醫生學位.一般本科六年
美式醫生是MD=Doctor of Medicine=醫學博士,一般四年.但需先修完一個認可的學位才可轉入醫科就讀.合共七年.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)是香港大學醫學院畢業後所得到我學位名縮寫. 香港中文大學醫學院畢業叫MB Ch B即是(Bachelor of Medicial Studies)
