1.)A toy factory has 200 workers.Each worker produced 12000 sets of toys last year.If 3 million sets of toys are produced this year,find the percentage increase in the productivity of each worker.

2.)Marys sells an electric kettle at $600 and the profit per cent is 20%.
(a.)If she decreases the selling price by 55%,find her loss per cent.

toy produced last year
=200*12000
=2400000
increase per worker
=(3000000-2400000)/200
=3000
the percentage increase
=3000/12000*100%
=25%

2.
the cost of the toy
=600/(1+20%)
=500
the selling price at the end
=600*(1-55%)
=270
loss per cent
=(500-270)/500*100%
=46%
