Current and voltage

Electric current:
When the metal wire is connected to a dry cell in a closed circuit, the free electrons are driven to movein the same direction by the dry cell. The flow df thesefree electronsforms an electric.current.
An ammeter is used to measure the size of an electric current
the unit is ampere(A)

Voltage:
A dry cell drives electrons to flpw though a circuit in a definite direction because it provides a voltage.
Voltmeter is used to measure voltage
the unit is volt(V)

它們是不同的東西，不同的物理量。

我們可以先從別的東西去理解這個概念。就用水吧！

每座大廈也會在天台安裝水箱，水會通過水管先被送到水箱，暫時存放在那裏，當人們打開水喉時，水便會由天台的水箱經水管傳送到「水龍頭」再流出來了。

水流 由 水的流動而形成。
水壓 是 由水的重量而形成的壓力，這個壓力亦是使水流動的能力的來源。

水流和水壓是不同的東西，這很明顯，當關上「水龍頭」時，便成為一個有水壓而沒有水流的情況了。

電的情況和水類似

電荷[例如電線中的電子]的流動成為電流。確切的定義是單位時間[1秒]在導體[電線]的「切面」流過的電量。 I[電流] = Q[電量] / t[時間，秒]

電壓是形成電流的推動力，單位是「伏特，Volt]，想像一下，用一節電池去推動一個燈膽發光，電壓是 1.5 伏特，電流呢？可以是零，也可以不是零。

當電製是接通的，燈膽發光，電流不為零，當電製「打開」時，斷路了，燈膽不亮了，電流為零，但電壓還是1.5伏特呢，沒有減小啊！

電流和電壓是不同的東西啊！
