上次Chemistry form test的一條問題

It is because a replacement reaction occur
equation:
2K + H2SO4 --> K2SO4 + H2


I think you are confused with the magnesium, when using fire to burn magnesium, a sharp white light occur

Here are two observations
1.K will react with acid explosively!
also, 2K+ H2SO4---->K2SO4 +H2
2.So, a colourless gas is evolved.
