It's so prestigous and romantic sounding. Absolutely perfect.
amir sounds like someone from iraq dont do that to an american kid
Are you arab?
Amir is an arab name and means " prince"
Is not a bad name, if you accompany it with a last name as Al - gazawi....or...El -sabah..or El- mallah.
So, as i dont know what ur last name is, i cant give you my opinion.
The only thing i can tell you, is that i think that kids has to be named according to their last names.
You cant put a boy Jhonatan with an spanish last name as Perez.
Or put Myshka (male name) that is russian with an english last name.
Think about that.
Good luck
like Elijah...not so much Amir.
it's unique but it will be hard for teachers or sub to pronounce that name. once it's pronounced wrong u kid will get laughed at all the time. just like me
Elijah is my sons name. But we decided to choose a more common middle name to balance it out. Elijah Ryan. We call him Ryan because everyone calls him Eli (which we can't stand) and a lot of people mispronounce it as E-lige-ah (even after we correct them plenty of times). Definatly go with a more common middle name though. Or keep Amir and go with a more common first name.
Name it what ever you want.
It would be nice if you people out there would stop and think about what you say and do for just a few seconds.
I keep seenin the statement what would you name a bably or what is a good name for a babby.
Babies are only babies for a short time and then have to spend many years as something other than a cute little toy.
Find a good name for the person that will help them succede.
Yes names do make a difference.
As for the name you have presented I do not know. It depends on the names around the new person.
it depends were are you from because in the middle east is probably nice" . how about "Angel"
Yes, I like how it flows....
Doesn't sound bad considering all the other names that are out there.
i would want a more modern name
buy a book on baby names you and your husband can decide then what you like
I love it!! How about Shyheim Izim?
that is quite an interesting combination but it definitely flows.

It sounds arabic. In todays world pick a name that implies anything.
