why confuse everyone...it sounds the same anyway.how about m a r i e...that way youll save your kid the trouble of correcting everyone constantly
stick to the original spelling for your baby's sake
leave it like it is, if you change it you will never find a Christmas ornament with her name on it.
Meireah
Mahree
Mehrie
Mureah
Mureigh
Mareigh
but I would keep Marie.. very pretty!
Changing the spelling of a common name does not make it special...it simply makes it difficult on the child spending their life having to spell their name.
I would say...
Maree
Marye
Mariee
Mariey
Mari
Marrie
Marriee
i have only ever seen marie. all of the ideas i come up with i keep reading as Mary or Maria.
Marea. Maree, Mahrie.......I don't know...just go with Marie. :)
SD
Maree, but Marie looks better I think
If you want people to be able to read your child's name correctly you may not want to get too creative with the spelling of the name. My parents were just a little creative and people spell my name wrong all the time. In fact, just today I recieved some travel documents with my name spelled wrong and I had to wait on hold for an hour just to change the spelling of my name so it wouldnt cause any problems on my vacation. My ex husband wanted to be creative in spelling our daughter's name and people pronounce it wrong all the time and its spelled phonetically. It just gets annoying after awhile. Just a suggestion.
Mahre .. Mahry ... Mari.. idk kinda hard i tried. :)
Mari?
Maree?
Marrie
Marri
Maurie? lol
I don't know, but Marie is pretty because its simple and feminine.
I think you should keep the original spelling else the girl will spend her life correcting people and paying fees to change the spelling of her name on airline tickets and her drivers license. Trust me, I go through this.
Maree
Marye
Maryi
Mari
Marii
Maeri; Mari; Maree; etc.
