解作威脅時的threat, danger, menace時的不同？

THREAT
threat (to do something) : a statement in which you tell sb that you will punish or harm them, especially if they do not do what you want 威脅 ; 恐嚇
eg. He received death threats from right-wing groups. 他到右翼團體的死亡恐嚇。
threat (to sth) : a person or thing that is likely to cause trouble, danger, etc. 構成威脅的人 ; 形成威脅的事物
eg. Drug abuse poses a major threat to the fabric of our society. 吸毒成為對我們社會結構的一大威脅。

DANGER
danger (of sth) : the possibility of sth happening that will injure, harm or kill sb, or damage or destroy sth 危險 ; 風險
eg. Children's lives are in danger every time they cross this road. 孩子們每次過這條馬路都面臨着生命危險。
danger of sth / danger that : the possibility of sth bad or unpleasant happening ( 壞事或不快之事發生的 ) 可能性 , 危險
eg. The building is in danger of collapsing. 這棟建築有垮塌的危險。
danger (to sb/sth) : a person or thing that may cause damage, or harm sb 危險的人 ; 危險因素 ; 危害 ; 威脅
eg. Police said the man was a danger to the public. 警方說這個男人對公眾是個危險分子。

MENACE
menace (to sb/sth) : a person or thing that will probably cause serious damage, harm or danger 威脅 ; 危險的人 ( 或物 ) ; 與 THREAT 同義
eg. These weapons are a menance to workd peace. 這些武器就是對世界和平的威脅。
menance : an atmosphere that makes you feel threatened or frightened 令人恐怖的氛圍 ; 危險氣氛
eg. He spoke with menace in his voice. 他說話的聲音中帶着威脅。
menance : a person or thing that is annoying or causes trouble 煩人的人 ( 或事物 ) ; 引起麻煩的人 ( 或事物 ) ; 與 NUISANCE 同義
eg. Slugs can be a menance in the greenhouse in winter. 冬天溫室裏的鼻涕蟲會很討厭。


BRANCH
branch (of company) : a local office or shop/store belonging to a large company or organization 分支; 分部 ; 分行 ; 分店

branch (of government) : a part of a government or other large organization that deals with one particular aspect of its work 政府部門 ; 分支機構 ; 與 DEPARTMENT 同義
eg. the anti-terrorist branch 反恐部門

SECTION
section (of organization) : a department in an organization, institution, etc. 部門; 處 ; 科 ; 股 ; 組
eg. He's the director of the finance section. 他是財務處長。

DEPARTMENT
department : a section of a large organization such as a government , business, university, etc. 部 ; 司 ; 局 ; 處 ; 系 ; ( 醫院的 ) 科 ; 部門
eg. the Department of the Environment 環境部 ; the children's department (in a large store) 兒童用品部
