簡介
　
香港鐵路博物館位於大埔墟市中心，面積6,500平方米，是在舊大埔火車站原址上改建而成的戶外博物館。舊火車站大樓建於1913年，是一座風格獨特的金字頂中國傳統建築。火車站於1984年被列為法定古蹟；經修復及重新佈置後，博物館於1985年開放予市民參觀。

The Hong Kong Railway Museum

Situated in the town center of Tai Po Market, the Hong Kong Railway Museum is an open-air museum occupying some 6,500 square meters converted from the old Tai Po Railway Station. Erected in 1913, the station building features the pitched roof of traditional Chinese building. It was declared a monument in 1984, refurbished and opened as a museum in 1985.
