No, it's not true. Once u finish the online application process, you will get a pin and log in name for u to check your personal information.
If you really receive no news after months, that means you are not selected but not the application being ignored, okay

Yes, somehow it's true. CityU really welcomes students. Universities nowadays need money $$$$.
But if you apply through the non-jupas mode, that means you must make sure u have qualifications specific for the entry requirement of your course.
