Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin (Chinese: 蔡卓妍; Cantonese Jyutping: coi3 coek3 jin4; Mandarin Pinyin: Cài Zhuóyán) (born 22 November 1982) is a member of the Cantopop girl group Twins, alongside Gillian Chung.
Biography
Charlene was born in Vancouver, Canada. However her family moved back to Hong Kong a year later. She currently resides in Kowloon. Her height is 5'5".
Charlene studied at a number of different institutions. She attended Marymount Secondary School, later on she attended Rosaryhill School. It is not entirely clear where she completed the rest of her schooling or ever attended post-secondary education like her Twins-partner Gillian Chung.
In 2001, she was offered to form the Emperor Entertainment Group musical group Twins with Chung (colloquially known as Gill). Choi since then has been come to known as Charlene, or simply Ah-Sa.

Gillian Chung is a Hong Kong pop singer and actress. She resides in the affluent Midlevels district in Hong Kong with her younger sister. Standing at just over five feet tall, Chung is a graduate of the Kowloon True Light Middle School and attended RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. While at RMIT, she also worked as a part-time model.
In 2001, Chung was approached by Emperor Entertainment Group to form a singing group, Twins, with Charlene Choi, to whom she is not actually related. Initially, people did have difficulty telling the two apart, but they have since developed their own distinct personalities.
