另，恕我多口，上面位那句本來不錯，只是 TENSE 的運用有問題，為何前面用 PRESENT TENSE， 後面用 PAST TENSE？

我會改成：

She had applied for jobs in many mu ltinational corporations which she had targeted for a long time , but all her applications failed.
failed 是 ACTIVE VOICE ， 不能用 WERE。

先 HAD APPLIED ， 後 FAILED， 先的用 PAST PERFECT， HAD TARGETED 也是先過 HAD APPLIED，所以也用 PAST PERFECT。
