I am waiting for the bus, 或 I am waiting for a bus
I am waiting for bus 就錯.
You should take the bus/go by bus (= travel by bus)

Police have renewed appeals to find a man who tried to abduct a girl of 16 as she was waiting for a bus in Surrey.
(

A dog seems to have an internal clock to tell him important things, like when to wait for the school bus and greet the children.

Take the First Bus route No. 792M in Tiu Keng Leung MTR Station, to the terminus in Sai Kung Town.

I am waiting for the bus route no. x.

應是 bus no. 10.

Setting: at a bus stop ....my friend Joe saw me when I was waiting for a bus ....
Joe: Are you waiting FOR A bus?Me: Yes (a bus), waiting FOR THE bus route no. 10, and you?Joe: I love buses, you know ... I would like to wait FOR BUSES and take photos when they pass by.
