i am now studying phy in CUHK
for A.level, it depends which school are you in
normally, if you wanna study phy, chem and pure math in a.level, it is always better to have good results in these three subjects
but some schools may also count much on the result in Chi, and Eng
if you wanna study phy in CUHK, the results in HKCEE will affect for only about 33% (different in different year, better check the Jupas Guide), so dont worry too much, as it counts most on Alevel result. for me, i also get no so good result in HKCEE, but manage to get a B in Alevel for phy
for other university, the count mostly on Alevel exam, but less in HKCEE
but is is alwasy better to work hard in HKCEE so that you can study better and have better result in Alevel
by the way, if u wanna study phy in university, i strongly recommend you to choose CUHK as you first choice for all reasons : environment, lecturers, equipment, atmospere...
if u really successfully enter CUHK for PHY or just simply have other questions, just kindly email me at
[email protected]. I am Victor, studying year 1 of PHY at CUHK
Wisk you all the best, God Bless You
