Well if you have Windows XP, at the startup, there should be a login name you can select. This can be equiped with a password. All you have to do is open the start panel, and click on your picture all the way at the top next to your name. It will bring up a window with some options. Go to the one that says Add or Change a Password. Once you have done that, every time the computer is turned on, at the loggin it will prompt you for your password. Or else you can't access anything. Another simple thing to do is to take the power cords away and hide them. Thats easier than moving the entire moniter. Also make sure that your name is the only name on the loggin screen or else he will just log on to someone elses name (unless you put passwords on those ones as well).Hope i didn't confuse you to much.

Unplug the power cord from the wall and unplug it from the back of the tower and wear it as a belt. A good old fashioned lickin' would work too!

I suppose you are using XP then create a password and then lock it when you leave the computer. On Shut- Down it will automatically ask for a password.
Go to Start > Control Panel> User Account and Create a password from there. it is really very easy.

You can create a password to the user account. So that when your son cannot login and access the PC.

1) Go to control panel
2) Click User Accouts
3) Pick an account you want
4) Click create a password
5) Write the password and confirm.

Just plug the wire of your pc and keep away from your son (the electricity wire of the computer)

Hello,
Put a BIOS Password.
Whenever the pc will be switched on, it will ask for a password. When the password will be entered then only ur system will start otherwise not.

Use a BIOS password. Windows Passwords are easy to get around. If you use a boot BIOS password, don't forget it.
