A research: What is your feeling of protecting environment?

I hate to see when people cut down a forrest to build a new condo or gated community. Why do they not tear down an old existing building and build a new one there?

It is better than making thousands of animals loose their homes.
Those animals become nuisance animals and have to be killed.

I could go on about the affects of cutting down trees and how it helps to erode the land and when a storm comes along if there are no trees then the damage is worse because there is no wind break.

There is so much more on pollution, but I think I have said enough.

I would like to protect the environment. I think it is important, but also so many problems that come along with it that we need a leader in it. So many of us don't know where to start, and don't even know what harms the environment, that I think the government should control this in a more effective way. It needs to be mandatory to recycle, to take care of the earth.

I think large steps need to be made world wide to begin to fix the trauma we have done to the environment. We raze thousands of acres of rainforest, disrupting natural oxygen creation, many third and second world countries have no standards when it comes to company waste output/disposal, and the ozone layer problem is not going away.

Global warming is a serious threat to our future generations, and even though WE may not see the impact, our children certainly will, and their children as well.
