Cheque is dishonoured

"A draws a cheque in favour of B as a gift. The cheque is dishonoured. Advice B on his rights against A."
Anybody know how to answer? No idea for this question. Pls help...Thx.

No right at all.
Since that is a gift, there is no obligation for A to pay B. B therefore cannot initiate any legal proceedings against A.

B has the right to ask A to encash the cheque OR sue A via civil proceedings. No matter the cheque is a gift or payment kind, issuing a cheque is a promise.
