you know f(-8)= -18 so that u know that k=12....so, we can rewrite f(x)=12(x^1/3- x^-1/3)
now 3 f(-27)=3 ( 12(-27^1/3 - (-27^-1/3) ) )
=3 (12) (-8/3)
=-96

3f(-27) = 3 [ 12( -27^1/3 - -27^-1/3) ]
= 3 [ 12 ( -3 + 1/3) ]
= -96
