Sorry to say but both. Bulimia is not just a problem with food it is emotional. Feelings come and go. Pain is very real emotional or physical. You need to find a reason to love and take care of yourself and not hurt yourself. Write down your thoughts you have when this stressed time happens and after you've seen it get rid of it burn the piece of paper or tear it and let it blow away. Everyone deserves love. Love yourself you deserve it.

Technically here are the requirements for bulimia:
DSM-IV Criteria for Bulimia Nervosa
A)Recurrent episodes of binge eating. An episode of binge eating is characterized by both of the following:(1) Eating, in a discrete period of time (eg, within any 2-hour period), an amount of food that is definitely larger than most people would eat during a similar period of time and under similar circumstances.(2) A sense of lack of control over eating during the episode (eg, a feeling that one cannot stop eating or control what or how much one is eating).
B)Recurrent inappropriate compensatory behavior in order to prevent weight gain, such as self-induced vomiting; misuse of laxatives, diuretics, enemas or other medications; fasting or excessive exercise.
C)The binge eating and inappropriate compensatory behaviors both occur, on average, at least twice a week for 3 months.
D)Self-evaluation is unduly influenced by body shape and weight. E)The disturbance does not occur exclusively during episodes of anorexia nervosa.

So if this hs been going on for more than 3 months, and you think you're fat when in fact you're not, and you meet the other criteria, then yes.

Talk to your counsellor about this. A title means nothing. Just try enjoy and appreciate life. =) good luck

Yes I'm afraid it is. You are trying to purge out all unhappy moments and memories by the form of purging food. Been there, done that. Please try to stop? it's very hurting to your body.

I know you're not intentionally making yourself lose weight, but what you're doing is what bulimic girls do. So if you're still doing it then yes you probably are.

This is not Bulimia but this is a problem you should see a Psychaitrist

If your point is that you do not intentionally throw up when you get stressed, but rather it happens without your doing anything to cause it, then I would not call that bulimia, I would call that a dangerously emotional response to stress that needs to be dealt with. Your doctor needs to address this issue, as there could be medication that would control it. Bulimia, as I understand it, is all about throwing up intentionally.
