CDMA 係 2G 的一種制式.2G 即第二代流動電話, 代表以數碼化傳遞. (DIGITAL)
而傳遞訊號時需要做調制(MODULATION), 2G年代主要有兩種方式做:
TDMA 同 CDMA.
GSM 就是用TDMA調制.
所以CDMA是一個調制的名稱.
現在3G年代仲複雜, 調制將TDMA同CDMA一齊用, 叫做TD-CDMA.

CDMA is one of the mobile phone tech. system ~
2G is 2nd geneartion mobile system , GSM , CDMA , TDMA , they are all in 2G , those systems have some modiflied verisons , speed and frequency range . GSM has 850,900,1800 and 1900 . the 1800 and 1900 usually named PCS in HK before , actually PCS not means GSM1800/1900 , just the freq. of the mobile system runs between 1800 ~2000MHZ , we can call them PCS , whatever CDMA or TDMA . CDMA has 450,800 and 1900 . TDMA has 800 and 1900. ..............
