請問GREAT 和 GOOD 在應用上有什麼分別?

Chinese New Year is a great festival.
My graduation ceremony is a great event.
He is a good friend and he always help the others.
Mary is a good girl and she cooks everday for her mother.

great = 非常好, good = 好

a) You are doing a good job
b) You are doing a great job

如果比老細讚, b 一定係好過 a, 雖然a 已經係好, 但 b 係十分好

'great' is stronger than 'good'

Good is a normal word, for example: You are a good man.

Better is a comparitive word, for example: This apple is better than that one.

best is the strongest word, for example: You are the best!

*'best' always be with 'the'

GREAT係指{好嘢!}{太好了!},指好開心或驚喜嘅感覺.
例:Oh! It's great! Mum buys the ice-cream to me!
噢!真是太好了!媽媽買了雪糕給我!

GOOD係指好的意思.
例:You do the work is very good!
你做的作品很好!
又可以寫成:
例:Good morning!早晨!
Good afternoon!午安!
Good night!晚安!
