What do you think about the new NBA basketball?

I don't like the new shape at all. The shape of the old NBA Ball is like a piece of American History and it's like all of a sudden they thought it would be a great idea to make it look more like a baseball.

brand new the ball is more slick than new leather balls. once broken in the grip becomes better because of the paneling on it. the ball has been used in asia, where the heat and humidity makes for a slippery ball, for a few years. for the most part shooters like the touch of it better since they dont actually need to grip the ball while shooting. does not effect dunking or rebounding once ball is broken in

I think it doesn't make much of a difference and there's too much hype about it.

Why tinker w/ something that doesn't need fixing? I would of kept the old one, the new one looks and feels like one of those cheap playground balls you had when you were in middle school. David Stern said that they wanted to stop using the old ball because it was killing cows. It's all about saving cow hides basically.

so do i i hate the halftime

NBA needs more talented white guys. But will the rank and file members be able to adjust to a new order. Cause this whole mess of having the same story week in and week out is just tiring.
