food labeling

There are so many countires mandates for the nutrition facts (or similar) in labeling.
For example,
USA,
Canada,
England,
EU

Hong Kong is not included as of now, but will be in the near future. You will see the nutrition facts on ALL the products selling in HK by 2009.

Forgot to mention, the law in HK will be effective in 2007, but enforce in 2009.

the US.
the regulatory structure for nutrition info on food labels was updated by the USDA (which regulates meat, poultry, and dairly) and the FDA (regulates all other foods)
Nutrition facts lables must appear ON MOST food packages (except the following items: packages are too small, restaurant foods, fresh produces and ...)

HK does not practice mandatory nutrition labeling as of today
