very few同not enough有咩分別?

very few 及 not enough都有不足之意﹐但very few後面必須跟countable noun﹐而not enough後可跟countable或uncountable noun. Example

I have only ver few reference books concerning anatomy (correct)
I have not enough reference books concerning anatomy (correct)
註 Anatomy是解剖學

I get very few butter to make a cake (WRONG)
I get not enough butter to make a cake (correct)
看得出分別沒有?

very few 即係好少
not enough 即係唔夠囉...

通常唔會not enough 咁用,,
會咁用::
i don't have enough money to spend.

very few = 小量，好小
not enough = 不足夠(即達唔到所需要)
