Commissioned by the Hong Kong Catering Industry Association , the research by PolyU Technology and Consultancy will study the impact of the anti-smoking bill before and after its implementation in January on the catering sector.
"We are not making any assumptions ,"said Tommy Cheung Yu-yan .The study will survey 1,800 Chinese restaurants , cafes , factory canteens , fastfood restaurants and karaokes , drawn randomly from the territory's more than 10,000 food establishments .
