S = 8x(1+x2)^(-1/2) – xdS/dx = 8(1+x^2)^(-1/2) + 8x(-1/2)(1+x^2)^(-3/2)(2x) -1
= 8(1+x^2)^(-1/2) – 8x^2(1+x^2)^(-3/2) -1
= 8(1+x^2)^(-3/2)[ (1+ x^2) - x^2 -1]
= 8(1+x^2)^(-3/2)
