點解氫不可以作日常用的煮食燃料呢?

2. 任何氣體燃料（包括氫氣），如果在設計良好的爐中使用，都可以在與空氣的接觸面上安全地燃燒。
3. 任何氣體燃料（不只氫氣），若果與空氣混合（空氣的份量不太多或太少），點燃後都會爆炸。
所以，氫氣並非不可用作家用氣體燃料。而以點燃氫氣與空氣混合物可導致爆炸亦非好的答案。

Actually you may have been using hydrogen as a fuel at your home if you use town gas at your home. In fact, town gas is a mixture of hydrogen, carbon monoxide and methane. This mixture is a very effective and clean fuel for domestic purpose. However, we seldom use pure hydrogen as the fuel for other purpose is mainly due to the difficulty in storage. Hydrogen is the lightest and smallest gas in the world. It is very difficult to prevent its leakage especially if you have not taken any good care of the tubing at your home since the hydrogen may easily pass through the protective material because of its smallest molecular size. The consequence of the leakage will be a disaster because of the explosion. For the sake of safety, the use of hydrogen for domestic purpose is therefore limited.
