The next morning, as the sun came up, the teacher shouted at us to get up. As soon as we were all up, he ordered us to go for a swim. It was quite cold so naturally everybody started complaining. But just as we were wading out, I saw a huge grey shark`s fin cruise past about a hundred yards away. Naturally I screamed and waved my arms but the teacher wouldn`t believe me.

呢句 the teacher wouldn't believe me, 用 wouldn't 只係強調個老師由此至終, 即是由筆者大叫揮手或以後時間一直都唔相信筆者, 如果改為 didn't 只係表示個老師當時唔相信, 無明確表達亦唔表示之後時間個老師仲信唔信筆者
至於 sun comes up 或者 sun goes down 已經係家傳戶曉好common 嘅 phrase, 所以就算過去式 sun came up 同 sun went down 都完全無問題... 唔信上網搜尋下

不好意思... 係「由始至終」先啱... 最緊要「正」字... 嘿嘿
至於 sun comes up 或者 sun goes down 已經係家傳戶曉好common 嘅 phrase, 所以就算過去式 sun came up 同 sun went down 都完全無問題... 唔信上網搜尋下

It was QUITE cold so............complaining? complain what? complain cold or complain swim?
也不應用 QUITE cold 而應用 SO cold

but the teacher didn't believe me = 但是老師沒有相信我
