2. 【口】非常,很
She doesn't like traveling too much.
她不太喜歡旅行。

3. 也;還;而且
She can speak English; she can speak French, too.
她會說英語,也會說法語。

4. 【美】【口】確實地,無可否認地

I'm so pleased to see you.
看到你我真高興。

2. 就那樣,像這樣;如此
Hold the fork so.
要這樣拿叉子。

3. (so後用倒裝結構)也如此,也一樣

我累了,其他人也一樣。
I like dancing; so does my wife.
我喜歡跳舞,我太太也喜歡。

too cold= 太冷
so cold= 非常之冷, so 可以當佢做very 都得起呢都用既話

以下是兩個字的用法:

It's too cold (here)! Let's go to a warmer place or Let's get in the mall.

It's so cold (outside). Let's stay in the house.

第一句是：這裡太冷了，讓我們去別暖或別的地方（商場）吧．
第二句是：外面這樣冷，我們留在室內好了．

too cold 可以說是太冷了
so cold 就是這樣冷，若用口語來說，就是咁冷．外面咁冷，．．．．．．
