I have a movie file (.mov) , but I cannot play it
Whenever I try to open it, I get the following error:
Error -2048: the file is not a movie file
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Check1) Have you installed the latest Quicktime player?
Go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/win.html
2) For the error message, it may not really a mov file. Try to play it in other player software.
