電匯問題...急!!!

他這樣做，英國那間銀行有權以為你在洗黑錢 (money laundering)，所以不准他把原先的錢匯回香港，但你可透過另外一個朋友在另一銀行再匯，除HSBC 外，英國位於地鐵站BANK STATION 還有很多銀行，BARCLAYS BANK, LLOYS BANK, ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND 等都是當地人普遍用的銀行。

英國bank方面話因為佢原先筆錢係由香港匯去的
--> this shouldn't be the case. because this is his/her money after all. the bank has no authority to dis-honour this request. Moreover, think a company account, they are doing this back and forth from HK to another country many times a day. Is there any communication problem by your friend with the bank?? May be they misunderstand that your friend wants to transfer back to HK to original position with no cost. As long as you pay the transaction cost, they would do so. Same as you withdraw from A bank to transfer in B bank. You can withdraw and remit again in the same bank. Bad is you pay 2 times and may lose on exchange rate.

Alright, if that is the case anyway, you better find a bank which has branch in UK and bank in HK. So that they won't need to transfer to another bank that they would charge higher handling charge. Try HSBC, Standard Chartered, Bank of East Asia (London or Birmingham).
