How to turn Windows Media file into MP3 file?

To my understanding you've extracted the songs from your cd via windows media player. However there is not only one format of sound files. e.g. there are different sound file formats like WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG etc.

MP3 is a commonly used format which could be opened/read by many players. WMA = media player音訊檔, and this format is usually read by windows media player. You can say it's like PDF files made by adobe acrobat.

It seems to me that your windows media player have extracted your songs into 'media player音訊檔' instead of 'mp3', and your mobile cannot read this file format. Try ripping the songs again into mp3. You can do so by two methods:

1. Go to your media player > tools > options > rip music > format --- choose mp3 from the drop down list. Then rip your songs again.

2. You can use another program to rip songs into mp3, and I use CDex. Simple to use, but go to options > settings to set the quality before you rip your songs. link: http://www.download. com/CDex/3000-2140_4 -10226370.html?tag=p dp_prod
