i want to buy a new computer but i don't understand what is AMD Athlon, intel pentium, and celeron, which one better? why? Are they all the same speed?

These are in different Brand name of CPU in personal computer,Intel -Pentium for High-graded Computer use .
Intel -Celeron for Low graded computer use -
AMD Athlon is another Brand name of CPU . the level is same Intel Pentium
The performance of computer is not only count on the same of speed of CPU.
