possessive之問

正常情況單一名詞或代名詞 或眾數時的posessive 就用's 例 peter's bag
眾數而那個名詞或代名詞的字尾為 s 字時當然用posessive既情況下..為免混亂.唔會用s's..所以會用s' 例 the students' teacher

('s)用於countable singular noun.
姐係話學生既書本"The student's books"
(s')用於collective noun.
例如有好多學生，但又想好似上面咁講就寫.
"the students' books"

在名詞字尾若是s便用s('), 如Agnes' friend, 字尾不是s便用('s), 如Peter's friend. 但字尾不是s的複數要加's, 如children's toys
但死物不能使用's或s', 要寫成xx of xx

e.g. This is Mr. Smith's house. 這是史密夫先生的屋。

(s')用於collective noun.
e.g. This is the Smiths' house. 這是史密夫一家人的屋。
