唔識正 ,希望大家幫幫手 點解唔同買個時

我買左個新的maxtor 硬碟40GB,但我插好曬,開機後睇下有幾大容量,原來得1.99GB,跟著我把硬碟格式化,都冇用.我想知點先可以正到40GB呢,希望有人幫到我,謝謝

第一你係fdisk到第4應該有得睇你個硬碟有幾大如果係寫1.99g就一定係個硬碟問題唔會係你插錯
插硬碟兩條ide都得唔係一條會睇到40G,一條會睇到1.99G
重有解第一個答家既問題
底版係唁會影響到你硬碟因為cpu計p2打後就可以確定到40G以上既硬碟

Is this a USB HD ? 2.5" hard disk.
I do not realise people can still buy 3.5" harddisk so small.
Usless you are using a 4-5 years old PC (pentium 2 or P1) this should not be bios problem.
If using Win2000 or Window XP
after you plug in the HD
press start > run > type compmgmt.msc , press enter
In computer managment click disk management (second last on the left)
choose the disk you want on the right screen, left clik to delete partition then recreate partition than do quick format.
XXXXXPlease make sure you choose the correct HD before proceed else you delete the wrong HD no person can help you.XXXXX
or you can use programme like partition magic or Norton utilities to help
Also Ghost have a programme call gdisk.exe or gdisk32.exe whcih can help

你的問題是底板不支援較大size (G數)的硬碟, 應可更新底板bios解决, 如果是用widows XP或2000, 先試安裝硬碟廠的big enabler 可否解决才更新bios.
