2 times x is subtracted from 200. The difference is then increased by 20%. If the ovarall result is equal to decreasing x by 40%, find x. The answer is 80. Can you give me an expression?

If I have understood your question correctly, you are looking for a mathematical expression that would lead to x = 80, right?(200 - 2x) 1.2 = 0.6x
240-2.4x = 0.6x
240 = 3.0x
x = 80
