How can ethanol be produced from ethene?

Catalytic hydration of ethene

CH2=CH2 (g) + H2O (g) --------> C2H5OH (aq)

Two conditions :

1) The reactants pass over phosphoric acid ( H3PO4 ) , which acts as catalyst
2) Reaction is carried out at 300℃ amd high pressure

heating on conc. H2SO4.
