安裝printer~(10)

如果係一般USB電腦用o既printer,
主要o既程序係:

1. 先安裝隨printer附送既驅動程式/軟件
一般printer都會連一隻光碟, 響未駁好printer之前先安裝

2. 安裝完畢後, 插上printer的電源及連接USB線至電腦
此時電腦應該會偵測到printer的存在, 並會自動替你完成安裝工具

3. 完成

所以安裝printer是很簡單的,
要注意既係, 最好先裝好driver先插USB線,
咁就最穩陣,
因為如果你未裝跟機o既driver就插USB線,
Windows會認唔到, 又或者亂咁認你o既printer,
可能會導致你用唔到,
所以最穩陣都係裝左個driver先.

PS. 以上程序係講緊一般家用常見既USB printer, 至於其他好似舊式行Printer Port果d, 因為而家較少用就在此省略~~

Which type of interface of your printer ?

Parallel (USB, IEEE-1284), / USB / network (ethernet) ?

For parallel printer.
=================
1. check the inks or ribbon cartridge is installed into the printer correctly.
2. connect your cable (IEEE-1284) between your printer and your computer's parallel port.
3. power on your printer
4. power on your computer (assume Windows Base PC), enter to BIOS setup, check the parallel port is enabled, if it was already enabled, exit the BIOS, and restart your computer.
5. After Windows is ready, install the printer driver and software provided from the vendor, usually packed into a CDROM nowaday. Please ensure your printer driver was supported by your OS (Windows version, e.g. Windows95/98/NT/2000/XP, 64bit Version of XP/2003 etc). You can refer to the user guide of printer to select the suitable driver to install.
5. After install successful, a new spooler (usually named as the printer model) will be added into the 'Printers and Fax'. The printer was ready to print.


For USB printer.
============
1. check the inks or ribbon cartridge is installed into the printer correctly.
2. connect your USB cable between your printer and your computer's USB port (any one port).
3. power on your printer
4. power on your computer (assume Windows Base PC), enter to BIOS setup, check the USB function port is enabled, if it was already enabled, exit the BIOS, and restart your computer.
5. After Windows is ready, install the printer driver and software provided from the vendor, usually packed into a CDROM nowaday. Please ensure your printer driver was supported by your OS (Windows version, e.g. Windows95/98/NT/2000/XP, 64bit Version of XP/2003 etc). You can refer to the user guide of printer to select the suitable driver to install.
5. After install successful, a new spooler (usually named as the printer model) will be added into the 'Printers and Fax'. The printer was ready to print.


Network Printer
============
1. check the inks or ribbon cartridge is installed into the printer correctly.
2. connect your Network (usually using RJ45 with HP JetDirect Ethernet adaptor at printer) to the switching hub or the printer server.
3. power on your printer
4. config the IP address and related setting via the menu of printer, e.g. set the DHCP to obtain IP adress or enter a fixed IP for the printer.
5. Power on your computer, after Windows is ready, install the printer driver and software provided from the vendor, usually packed into a CDROM nowaday. Please ensure your printer driver was supported by your OS (Windows version, e.g. Windows95/98/NT/2000/XP, 64bit Version of XP/2003 etc). You can refer to the user guide of printer to select the suitable driver to install. During install the driver, a port will ask you to assign for connect the printer, you may create a new port via TCPIP, then enter the port name and IP address into the port. You can use the tcpip port to connect to your network printer.
6. After install successful, a new spooler (usually named as the printer model) will be added into the 'Printers and Fax'. The printer was ready to print.

說明書是有一定教的~
首先是安裝好於電腦內的軟件~
通常安裝軟件時亦有教導安裝硬件的程序~
裝好軟件好再把printer內的封條等撕掉(依說明書指示)~
再接駁電腦和電源~現在大多printer均使用usb接口~
最後開啟電源~電腦會自動安裝printer的驅動程式~
接著....便可以列印測試~校準等工作~

無咩特別要注意架．．．．留意係咪插好．．．．仲有就係安裝ｄｒｉｖｅｒ．．．好簡單咋．．．．
