我今年七月以旅遊簽證進入美國 本想轉學生生簽證留下 但著手辦的時候 得到兩個答案 有的人說美國已於兩年前更改條例 不再允許持有旅遊簽證者轉學生簽證 又有人說現在還是可以的 只是當局需要較長時間批核 請問哪樣屬實?
此外 我先生持有綠卡 我還要等數年他轉成公民後 才能拿到綠卡 請問除了拿學生簽證外 我可以用什麼方法合法留下? 還是我必須回港等待 直到我先生轉成公民?

1. you need to make sure how long you can stay for your "travel visa B1/B2"? 2. within this period, you can change to F1 visa (student visa), or H1 visa (for professional or specialist), for H1 , you must to find the company to hire you.
3. but H1 visa basic requirement: at least you have degree (for more details, ask the attroney)
4. i think you need to change your status as soon as you can. Because you have entered usa for 4 months already. so i think you need to consult the attroney, and make sure which status you can change
5. your husband has green card. it means he is only resident, not citizen. you need to wait for him to become a citizen.

so, can you change to F1 visa in finally? or keep using the travel visa visit your husband? because I have the same issue as you
