A square us unscrubed in a circle of radius 7 cm. Find the area of the square

diagonal of the square = the diameter of the circle
so diagonal of the square is 14cm
let the side of the square = x
By the Pythagoras theorem,
x²+x²=14²
x²=98
x=√98
the area of the square=x²=98cm²

The radius of the circle is 7 cm .

The square length is 7cm ×2=14cm

So the area is 14cm ×14cm=196cm²

One side of the spuare=√7︿2+7︿2 (Pyth.thm)
=√98

The area of the square=√98*√98
=98cm︿2

*7︿2=7的2次方~
