許多公司都會有做來年財政的預算(Budget), 而財政預算其中一項目是每個部門/單位的金錢於日常使用量多少, 這可預算未來一年的金錢於日常運作中使用, 這便是一個operation plan 的例子 !

在一百貨公司一位負責時裝部的營業主管, 他每年需要留意那一類時裝於那月份銷量好, 並準備足夠的貨源供售賣, 這也是一個operation plan 的例子 !
