The size ratio of Plasma and LCD TVs is 16:9 which is the ratio of most movie pictures. This is in fact our eyes visual ratio. That is why now most Plasma and LCD TVs follow the same ratio. The size cannot be too big because of the limitation of the technology. Back Projection TV puts a projector at the back of the screen inside the TV box and project picture to the screen.
